Standardized Configurations for BestFlex

FMH Conveyors is excited to announce that purchasing flexible powered roller conveyors, known as BestFlex, has been streamlined for reduced lead times. BestFlex conveyors can take your conveyor solution to the next level of productivity and efficiency. They provide advantages in versatility, footprint, ergonomics and more.

BestFlex utilizes powered rollers to enable fast, efficient loading or unloading of packages in shipping, transportation, packaging, and other applications with less operator assistance. In the past, BestFlex was sold strictly as a customized product to suit your needs. By taking the twelve most used configurations and setting them up as their own SKU, the lead time for this product has reduced drastically.

BestFlex Standard Configurations:

30" Wide Accumulation Conveyors

  • 24', 36', 40' extended lengths with 3" axle centers and auxiliary power cords
  • 24', 36', 40' extended lengths with 5" axle centers

30" Wide Transportation Conveyors

  • 24', 36', 40' extended lengths with 3" axle centers and auxiliary power cords
  • 24', 36', 40' extended lengths with 5" axle centers

With the auxiliary power cord option, there is an extension cord underneath the power unit that provides the ability to link two separate conveyors together.

Accumulation conveyors are designed with photo eyes that allow zero-pressure accumulation that can act as an electronic package stop. They create a temporary buffer zone between products moving up or downstream. These are most commonly used to support pick and packing applications.  Transportation conveyors are designed to carry items up and downstream, a great choice for loading and unloading efficiently. Both accumulation and transportation BestFlex conveyors are designed to operate forwards and backwards.

BestFlex conveyors can flex around corners, meet multiple docks, or navigate close quarters where other infrastructure or equipment is present. When not in use, valuable space can be saved by retracting the conveyor to its smallest footprint. By eliminating workarounds and extra steps in moving packages, BestFlex also improves ergonomics, reduces injury risk, and increases overall package handling efficiency.
