FMH Conveyors Company Update

Thank you for your continued support and loyalty to our products for your conveying applications. We know the 2020-2021 business climate has been challenging for everyone, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to take on each new challenge together.

Material and manpower shortages continue to have significant impacts on our business as well as our suppliers. Throughout the course of this year, we have experienced significant price increases in steel and other materials, many of our supplier lead times have tripled (up to five months or more), and we have experienced significant transportation delays. All of this has come while demand for our product has continued to be very strong.

Lead times for our products are running longer than normal and, in some cases, the impact has been significant. We do not want to alarm anyone but want to make sure you have this information to help you plan effectively.

We are doing everything possible to minimize the impact on our lead-times and to keep costs as low as we can. We are ordering materials further out to mitigate supply chain issues, and we continue to aggressively attempt to hire and train new employees to help us expand capacity.

For us to better partner with you as we continue through these challenges, we ask that you consider providing us with as much forecasting as you can for our products. These forecasts along with orders for future equipment will help ensure we have the material on hand to build and ship your products on time.
