Employee Spotlight: Richard Steele

14/03/2024

Meet Richard Steele, Production Scheduler!

Richard began his career with FMH Conveyors in January 2017 as a temporary worker. He quickly became a full-time employee that April, moving from assembler to a team lead position.

He joined FMH in search of better opportunities for growth. He has been able to excel in five different positions over the past seven years. Richard was recently promoted to production scheduler. In this position he manages the production scheduling team, handles all planning for the production lines, and handles the incoming job orders amongst other duties.

Richard’s favorite part of his job at FMH is getting to work with people. He says that getting to work with all the different departments allows him to feel more involved. He has hopes that the company will continue to grow and expand the facility.

Richard was born and raised in California until he was 12 when he moved to Newport, Arkansas. He graduated from Newport High School in 2009 and joined the military that year. Richard currently lives in Harrisburg, AR with his wife, Shauna and two children, Sophia and Linkoln.

In his free time, Richard enjoys being outside riding his side by side, camping, working out, and playing video games. A few things you might be surprised to know about Richard is that he has a degree in computer networking and can do a back flip.

When asked what the most important thing he has learned in the past five years, Richard says, “Take chances, be assertive and present your worth and good things will happen.”

We truly appreciate Richard and the rest of the FMH family for all their hard work.
