Employee Spotlight: Kara Vincent

Meet Kara Vincent, Team Lead!

Kara has worn many hats throughout her career, including church secretary, stay-at-home mom, and ground delivery driver for FedEx. She joined FMH Conveyors in December 2019 after looking for more growth opportunities and better benefits. 

Kara currently works as a team lead for the BestConnect department. Her duties include training individuals in assembling conveyors, making sure all materials are available and the schedule and shipping requirements are met. Kara says she enjoys teaching people new things that may help make their job easier. 

Over the next ten years, she has hopes that FMH Conveyors will expand by adding new conveyor lines and keep up with cutting edge material handling needs.  

Kara moved to Arkansas from Alaska when she was 13 years old. Currently she lives in Brookland, Arkansas with her husband, Ray. Between the two of them they have eight children and one grandchild. In her spare time, Kara enjoys working on their small farm with the animals, gardening, hunting and fishing.  

Kara says one of the most important lessons she has learned is not to overwhelm herself by worrying so much about the future and to just take things one day at a time.
