Employee Spotlight: Alissa Smith

Meet Alissa Smith, Customer Service Representative!

Alissa Smith has been a valuable member of the FMH Conveyors team since joining the company in September 2019. Prior to this, she was a sales service representative for Cintas. Alissa chose to join FMH to further utilize her skills and gain experience while contributing to the company's productivity and reputation.  

Alissa's role as customer service representative involves working with the entire service department to ensure that all jobs are set up correctly for reporting, costs are accurately recorded, and all necessary documentation is in place for invoicing.  

Alissa says that she’s super competitive so the way the team works together and reaches their goals is one of her favorite parts of the job. She hopes to see FMH continue to grow over the next several years and maintain strong relationships with customers. 

Alissa and her wife, Ali, reside in Jonesboro, AR with their 11-year-old Jack Russell/Yorkie mix. Outside of FMH, Alissa volunteers her time for the advocacy of veteran’s, children, and domestic violence awareness. She has also served on the board of directors for several local non-profits. Some of Alissa’s hobbies include cooking, hiking, traveling, and she is a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan.  

She believes in romanticizing every aspect of life. Alissa says, “You have to start believing that your morning commute is fun, that every cup of coffee is the best you’ve ever had, that even the smallest and mundane things in your life are exciting and new. That’s when you truly start living and looking forward to every day.”
